Please join us in welcoming the newest member of the White Bird family. Hera was abandoned at a farm by her owner and the recipient was none too happy about it. About 40 years young, Hera has a number of health issues including malnutrition (Body Score of 2.5), few remaining teeth, Cushing’s syndrome, poor vision and an unspecified neurologic problem. But despite these problems, she is upbeat and enjoys her life. Our sincere thanks to her foster mom, who picked her up and has started her on the road to a better life. Hera will be available for adoption, once we have her medical issues under control.
