Volunteers are the stout hearts and broad backs of our rescue operation. Every day, they are feeding horses, filling troughs, cleaning stalls, fixing fences, and doing the hundred other things that improve the lives of our horses and ensure that the rescue runs smoothly.

Many people would love to adopt a horse, but they recognize that horses require significant energy and resources. These people have done exactly the right homework; so the perfect answer to this dilemma is to sponsor a horse, and let us haul the water buckets and muck the stalls! Each horse deserves his or her special person, and your sponsorship provides for a deserving horse, who may have little chance of adoption.

Our sponsors are pure gold, and we are extremely grateful to:

Chuck and Paula, Jane and Tom and Alison for their generous & caring support.

In a perfect world, there would be no horses needing a rescue. In a slightly less perfect world, those horses needing to be rescued would have everything they need. But our world is even less perfect than that, and there are many horses out there who need our help, lacking even basic feed, shelter and veterinary care. We receive distress calls every day. We hate to ask for donations. It’s probably the hardest thing we’ve ever had to do. But we cannot do this alone. It is only through your donations that we can continue to save the lives of these innocents, and we appreciate you more than we can say.
