We carried out a mail-out exercise in 2009 and we are aware that some donors are still using the Box Number that came on those envelopes. That number is now closed and donors should either use our farm address (1688 Burke’s Tavern Road, Burkeville, VA 23922) or the PayPal link provided on this web site, whichever is convenient. We can never thank you enough for your continuing support, and while we try to send a “Thank You” to all our donors we do occasionally slip up. However, all donations are gratefully received and enable us to keep going in these difficult economic times. Please help us by continuing to support the Rescue, no donation is too small.
We only send out Tax Forms automatically to donors who contribute over $250 (as required by the IRS) an will be sending these out shortly. If you need a donation Tax Form please let us know by emailing us at whitebirdapps@gmail.com and will send you one with your details. We list all donors and their contributions in the Schedule B of our IRS Form 990.
The new Shelter Challenge is well underway and we are at about the same position as last time 538 overall and 11th in VA. To earn prize money we need to at least get into the top ten in our State and stay there. Thank you all who have voted, and continue to vote for us. Spread the word and let’s see if we can improve on last year’s high of 10th place.
