A Message from the President

Break The Bank!

Local artists from the greater Richmond area are applying their talent to help White Bird raise much needed funds. Sponsored by the wonderful "Work of Art"  pottery studio in Midlothian, our artists paint pottery banks that are placed at local businesses to collect donations.

Feeling artistic? Would you like to help feed hungry horses? Please contact us if you'd like to help Break the Bank! If you are local to Midlothian, Amelia, or Burkeville, please keep an eye out for these banks and help us fill them up!

Our most sincere thanks to Kristin at Work of Art,

who made this FUNdraiser possible.

White Bird Included in CVC 2006 List of Approved Charities

Pssst!

Don't forget that if you are a Virginia state employee, you can designate donations to White Bird Appaloosa Horse Rescue through the Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign!

White Bird is CVC #3388

Remember: Even ONE dollar per month will buy 1 bag of feed per year, one tube of wormer, or 3-4 bales of hay!

In August 2006, White Bird Appaloosa Horse Rescue attended the Equine Event hosted by the Amelia Southern States. We had a good time meeting new neighbors and especially enjoyed the round pen demonstration held by Natural Horsemanship trainer, Sylvia Scott.
