After working with Brodie (Red) for so much time this brings tears to my eyes. He was so thin when he came in and in need of a friend that I spent a lot of time just grooming and rubbing him and giving him cheek rubs. When he started putting on weight and his coat improved he became a different horse. He held his head higher, walked prouder. He was a different horse. But he still wanted his cheeks rubbed and to be groomed. To think that now he’s home where he belongs and WhiteBird was a part of that is a “Black Beauty” story. WhiteBird was there when he needed help and as a result he is back with his “forever” family.
